Airport/Arusha - Tarangire National Park

In the morning, our safari guide will arrive at the hotel or waiting you at the airport so as to pick you up. After meeting your guide, while carrying lunch boxes, you will head to Tarangire National Park, for approximately 2.5 hours on the way. Then, your first safari will begin! Tarangire National Park, celebrated for its iconic baobab trees and massive elephant herds concentrated near the Tarangire River. You will explore diverse landscapes to spot predators and prey like, lions, giraffes, zebras. After the safari, you will travel to Karatu and stay at Marera Valley Lodge or similar hotel, for dinner, relaxation, and overnight.

In the morning, after breakfast, while carrying lunch box -our safari guide will pick you up from the hotel and drive you to Serengeti via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Serengeti is one of the largest parks in Tanzania and has a large population of different wildlife species. Here, you can see: lions, antelopes, elephants, giraffes, buffaloes and zebras, hyenas, and wildebeest that migrate there, and a multitude of bird species. Also, there is a possible chance of spotting cheetahs, serval cats and other rare animals of the African savannah. in the evening, you will be transferred to Serengeti Classic View Camp or related hotel, for relaxation, dinner and overnight stay.

On this day, it is suggested to leave the hotel as early as possible to maximize your possible chances of seeing the animals that are most active in the morning. After having breakfast, we will descend inside the Ngorongoro crater for game drive and most iconic safari destinations, where Maasai communities live in harmony with wildlife. Inside the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, the world largest intact volcanic caldera, you can witness zebras, wildebeest, elephants, buffalo, lions, leopards, flamingos, hippos. The luckiest travelers may even spot a rhinoceros, whose population is rapidly decreasing. Conclude your trip with a transfer to the airport or extend your adventure to the beautiful island of Zanzibar or Mafia.

Travel Information

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry into Tanzania if arriving from a yellow fever endemic country. The Serengeti can be cold at night year-round — pack warm layers for early morning game drives. The rainy season (March–May) brings fewer visitors and lush green landscapes but some roads may be impassable.
