Your journey begins with a morning greeting at Julius Nyerere International Airport or your residence, followed by a scenic 6hours hour drive into the heart of Nyerere National Park. Upon arrival, you will settle in for a freshly prepared hot lunch and a brief moment of relaxation. The afternoon features a premier boat safari along the Rufiji River a vital waterway offering unparalleled views of hippos, crocodiles, and more than 430 recorded bird species, including the elusive African Skimmer and Giant Kingfisher. As the sun sets, you will retreat to the Selous Safari Lodge (or a comparable premier lodge) for an evening of fine dining and a tranquil overnight stay.

Travel Information

A yellow fever vaccination certificate is required for entry into Tanzania if arriving from a yellow fever endemic country. The Serengeti can be cold at night year-round — pack warm layers for early morning game drives. The rainy season (March–May) brings fewer visitors and lush green landscapes but some roads may be impassable.

A 30% deposit is required to secure your booking, with the balance due 60 days before departure. We accept bank transfer and major credit cards. Bookings within 60 days of departure require full payment at time of booking.
Cancellations more than 60 days before departure: deposit forfeited. 30–60 days: 50% of total cost. Less than 30 days: 100% of total cost. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.
